Founded in 1962 on the territory of the Republic of San Marino, for a few years it was little more than an artisan workshop in which the workers applied to the mass production of the knowledge developed in the production of local artistic ceramics; this particularity will remain a distinctive feature of Ceramica Faetano's production, in which we continue to recognize a particular originality and autonomy with respect to current taste.

Specialized in the production of ceramic products for wall covering, Ceramica Faetano has constantly applied the most advanced technologies compatible with this use; in fact, it was the first company in the world to use the "single-firing" technique in the production of ceramic coatings, applying the best aesthetic features of traditional double-firing to the highest technical performance and the greater flexibility of modern production processes.

In the 1990s, Ceramica Faetano began to combine its industrial activity with the control and commercial and financial coordination of other companies in the sector, until it assumed the current configuration of a group holding company.
